Chuck Coyle, Jon Tarkington and Jon Baker competed in the Mt. Hood Stage Race this past weekend. Coyle notched a pair of NRC top ten finishes by taking 5th in stage 2 and 8th in stage 5, both sprint finishes. Baker and Tarkington got in on the action on the climbing stages, with Tarkington and Baker both spending time off the front on the final day’s difficult and decisive climbing stage. Tarkington would eventually finish a very respectable 20th on the day. A number of good photos and recognition can be found on cyclingnews.com and velonews.com. The overall stage race win went to Healthnet Maxxis rider and Australian National time trial Champion Nathan O’niell.
