After 2 months of racing, Chuck Coyle sits at the top of the leaderboard for the American Cycling Association's 2005 Cyclocross series. Racing in the extremely competitive pro-1-2 / open category, Coyle has finished on the podium in numerous races, including a victory at the Snow Mountain Ranch race in September. With more and more riders becoming cyclocross specialists each year, it is becoming increasingly difficult for road racers like Coyle to show in Cyclocross.
