With the second edition run on Sunday, August 14, Swanky's race has only seen one winner in the men's pro-1-2 category. For the second year in a row, Vitamin Cottage stalwart Jon “Teton“ Tarkington won the Swanky's Classic. Tarkington and his VC teammate Christian McCarthy made the early move with Chris Baldwin (Navigators), Scott Moninger (Healthnet) and a number of others. The break split up midway through the race and in the end it was Tarkington taking the win. Christian McCarthy and Chuck Coyle finished 5th and 9th respectively on the day. The Vitamin Cottage boys return to action next weekend in eastern Colorado at the Deer Trail Road Race.
