Vitamin Cottage deployed some horsepower last night to boost the Tuesday night crit into higher speeds and fiery attacks. An initial salvo was fired by Consaul (Trailblazers), Somers (Navigators/R3) and another hopeful. The move was soon neutralized though, by a few sharp accelerations behind and the attacks began. Scheske (Preferred Care) began covering the Vitamin Cottage guys, but their continued counters soon left him hanging and Coyle was up the road. Some desperate chasing only set up Bajadali to bridge across with Dechau (Preferred Care) in tow. The three got together and lapped a suffering remnants of the field. Scheske got with Coyle after they lapped and got away with a smaller group in chase. The pressure whittled the group and Coyle got a gap - again. Scheske bridged to Coyle and was countered by Bajadali and the two Vitamin Cottage riders were clear again. With only 6 laps remaining the pair were clear of any remote chance of being caught by even lapped riders. Dechau rode in with the lapped group for 3rd and Scheske soloed in for 4th McKane (Trailblazers) persevered for 5th place taking out the paltry remains of the chasers in a group sprint.
