Going into the final stage, Andy Bajadali trailed only Svein Tuft (Symmetrics) in the overall GC by 1 minute and 9 seconds. With several difficult climbs in the 75 mile race, the possibility was there that Bajadali could take the overall lead, especially given the form that has allowed “the Baj” to win two significant stage races in the last several weeks. But in the end, Tuft was able to stay in contact with Bajadali and the final GC finished as the day started with Tuft in first, and Bajadali in second.
