After finishing 12th and 14th, respectively in the 2.5 mile opening prologue time trial, Vitamin Cottage riders Chuck Coyle and Andy Bajadali moved on to stage 2 where Bajadali won the stage just ahead of Scott Moninger (Healthnet Maxxis).
With the stage win, Bajadali sits just 4 seconds behind Moninger, one of the nation's strongest climbers and time-trialists in the overall GC. The race continues today with a time trial and criterium and will be completed tomorrow with a mountaineous 75 mile road race.
