May 7, 2005, Wichita, KS - The break of the day formed with Scott Moninger (Healthnet Maxxis), Dan Schmatz (Seasilver), Chuck Coyle (Vitamin Cottage), Steve Tillford and several other riders. Towards the end, the breakaway riders attacked each other relentlessly and it was Coyle in a two-up sprint notching the win for Vitamin Cottage.
